SCTB NORD is the only company applying the gold plating technology for soldered surfaces of thermoelectric dices for all the types of manufactured modules, which allows the use of non-corrosive fluxes to ensure high soldering quality.
SCTB NORD has become a leader in the manufacture of modules intended for use in temperature cycling conditions thanks to the implemented unique technology of multilayer antidiffusion barriers.
Introduction of a 6-stage line of washing in polar and nonpolar solvents is aimed to remove residual flux and, accordingly, to achieve ion cleanness and high corrosion resistance of modules;
SCTB NORD manufactures products in accordance with the requirements of the EU RoHS directive which restricts use of hazardous materials, and provide module assembly with high temperature solders, including gold-based ones (Au-Sn) with a melting point of +280 °С. Soldering is performed in special environments and fluxless.
